We are currently accepting applications for a full-time farm store associate based out of our Farmers Cooperative Association (FCA) location in Columbus, Kansas.

Primary responsibilities:
– Work with customers to determine their needs
– Answer questions about our products
– Recommend viable solutions
– Promptly resolve customer issues
– Operate point-of-sale computer system
– Help customers locate products
– Restock incoming merchandise
– Organize and maintain farm store
– Operate the truck scales
– Grade grain
– Maintain inventory

Professional and courteous customer service skills will be required. Knowledge of agriculture is preferred.
Candidate will be trained to operate a forklift to assist as needed.

Candidates must pass all FCA pre-employment requirements.

Seasonal overtime will be required.

We are searching for a goal-oriented team player for this position. Candidates should be self-motivated individuals with the ability to successfully communicate and collaborate with the FCA employee team and patrons. The successful candidate will be prepared to support and promote the FCA and its members at all times.
